Dante’s Light

Dante Hogans was a loving son, brother, husband, and devoted father. He was born on March 7, 1996, to LaTonya and Jeffery. Dante was an upright man who took pride in taking care of his family, supporting his siblings, and being there for his friends. As a brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, he was deeply loved and respected by those who knew him. Though he was a quiet man, his words carried wisdom, and the advice he gave was always thoughtful and powerful.

Dante had a deep love for music, and cooking was one of his passions. Above all, his greatest joy was his son, Amir. Fatherhood meant everything to him, and he took great pride in being present, loving, and supportive - Amir was truly his world.

Dante’s life was tragically taken by gun violence, leaving his family and community heartbroken. However, his legacy lives on through the love he shared and the lives he touched. Through the work of the Dante’s Light Foundation, his light continues to shine by supporting grieving families, advocating for youth, serving the community, and raising awareness about the true impact of gun violence.

Through the work of the Dante’s Light Foundation, his spirit continues to shine. The foundation is committed to supporting grieving families, uplifting youth, serving the community, and raising awareness about the devastating impact of gun violence. By turning pain into purpose, Dante’s story becomes a light of hope, healing, and change for others.

Dante’s legacy is not defined by how his life ended, but by the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the light that continues to shine in his name.
